Since 2020
I explore the normative significance of everyday experiences of othering and belonging among migrant, exiled, and displaced communities.
Part of this project includes community conversation. If you are interested and want to join the theatre and activites based workshop, please contact me.
This work is at a very early stage and grows from my own connections with the Badaga hill tribe and Kadabagere communities where I come from. Rather than arriving with fixed answers, I hope to learn alongside women in self-help groups in these communities, listening to how they make sense of pain, and how they navigate, resist, and find support within families, relationships, and wider social networks.
